Molly McMillan, OTR/L is an Occupational Therapist with over fifteen years of clinical experience in a variety of health care settings.  She is a

highly skilled,
thoroughly trained, and
sensitive practitioner

who founded Manhattan Myofascial Release in order to provide the kind of individualized therapeutic services she found lacking in large facilities.

Since 1996, she has studied extensively with myofascial release founder John Barnes, P.T., and now instructs with him nationally.

Molly uses myofascial release and craniosacral therapy as her primary modalities because she has found its' theory and practice to produce successful results in a minimal amount of time.

Molly is trained in other areas, please see related modalities for more information; these are incorporated into the clients treatment program as needed.  She also teaches local introductory classes and is available for in house presentations; please see classes for more information.

Molly considers herself a therapeutic artist using her

hands
knowledge
and intuition

as the tools to guide clients toward  healing and freeing of the inner or authentic self.  She believes that people are fundamentally whole, and the healing process involves removing any obstacles to this experience.

Molly has been featured on the Oxygen Network in The Journey with Caroline Myss, and in their Town Hall Meeting.

Molly has a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from The Medical College of Georgia where she graduated cum laude was elected to the Alpha Eta honor society, and to represent her class at the national conference.

Molly's other interests include acting, she has performed in numerous productions, nature photography and being outdoors in any way possible, hiking, camping, swimming, skiing, roller blading etc.
